Dear fellow JDRF supporters,

When I was asked to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) more than 20 years ago, there was only one answer to helping end Type 1 diabetes (T1D): Yes.

T1D is a lifelong disease that affects 1.6 million Americans with the average age of diagnosis being 13 years old. Before learning to drive, going to prom, or starting their first job, these children have already had to take on a great health burden. One they will need to live with for the rest of their lives. However, this disease does not discriminate against age; I’ve also met people who were diagnosed in their 50s.

That is why we are working together to support JDRF as many against one.

It’s been an honor to see how far JDRF has come to make a difference in people’s lives and to find a cure - not just for those with T1D, but for their loved ones as well. JDRF’s compassion, commitment, and research to find solutions are admirable and we can count on them to never stop.

Our Sonora Quest Laboratories team members won’t stop either. They have joined the fight from coordinating fundraisers, softball teams, and walks/runs to bake sales and raffles. Our team has stepped up to the challenge over these last two decades - and I hope you will too!

Please join Sonora Quest Laboratories in applauding and championing JDRF and its mission to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.

Sincerely,

David A. Dexter
